## About This Program

> "True Blue — the color, symbolism, and emotional resonance of blue"

### Theme

From the vastness of the sky to the depths of the sea—from loyalty and friendship to sorrow and melancholy—*True Blue* invites artists to explore the color, symbolism, and emotional resonance of blue. This online juried exhibition seeks creative interpretations ranging from the literal to the figurative, celebrating one of art's most evocative and enduring hues. Most visual art media and styles are welcome, including painting, photography, drawing, digital art, mixed media, sculpture, fiber art, and printmaking (no video).

Submit your most inspired vision of what it means to be ***true blue.***

### Calendar

Submission deadline Monday, November 30, 2026

Notification of winners and online gallery opening by Dec. 15, 2026.

(The virtual exhibition will be available online for three months.)

### Awards

First place - $300; second place - $200; and third place - $100. First place winner will have the option to exhibit the winning image (and possibly others, depending on size) in our Showcase Gallery space at our historic campus on Cape Cod for one month in 2027.

### Entry Fee

$20 for first entry, and $5 for each additional entry up to a maximum of 20 images. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

### Eligibility

Open to all mediums (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, drawing, limited edition prints (signed and numbered), mixed media, photography, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art, etc.) except video.

### Rules

Work that is copied, produced by AI, or created under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.

### Juror

Cultural Center of Cape Cod Directors. Please note: there is no personal feedback given by jurors.

### Notification

Notification will be done by email. If for any reason you do not receive your notification by the notification date, please check the filters in your email account.

### Formatting

All images must be in JPEG or JPG format using Café guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side. Maximum file size is 5 mb.

### Sales

All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist. Please include a website or contact where sales inquiries can be directed. Your link will be included with your image in our online gallery.

- **Disciplines:** painting, photography, drawing, digital art, mixed media, sculpture, fiber art, printmaking, watercolor, pastel, printmaking (limited edition prints), glass, wood
- **Note:** Open to ALL fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video. This call is open to all artists worldwide, both amateur and professional.
