**Hosted by:** Collective Visions Gallery

**Type:** Prize/award | **Location:** Collective Visions Gallery, Bremerton, WA, United States | **Deadline:** November 7, 2026 | **Entry fee:** $45

## About This Program

> "Open theme — no particular theme; artists submit their best work in any category, medium, or genre"

The 2027 CVG Show is an annual all-media open-themed juried art competition hosted by the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton, Washington.

Submissions are open to artists from Oregon and Washington State only. There will be up to $10,000 in cash and awards. It will be held in person at the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton, Washington, from Saturday, January 16 through Friday, February 26, 2027. There are three separate categories for entry: Two-Dimensional, Three-Dimensional, and Photo/Digital Art, with several prizes in each category.

There is no particular theme for this show. Artists are encouraged to submit their best pieces in any category, medium, or genre. All work submitted must have been completed within the past 5 years (on or AFTER Jan 1, 2022). Artwork created in a class, workshop, or under the direction of any instructor is not eligible for entry into this show. 2D includes all painting, drawing, mixed media, and all wall-hanging sculptural pieces with less than 4" protrusion from the wall.

3D includes all sculptural pieces either free-standing or requiring a pedestal, as well as ceramics, glass, and jewelry, and can include wall-hanging pieces with 4" or more protrusion from the wall. Photo/Digital Art includes all traditional and modern photographic images, methods, and surfaces, including those digitally enhanced or manipulated, as well as digitally-created drawings and paintings. AI-generated artwork will not be accepted for this exhibition; for Photo/Digital art, standard digital tools for editing, enhancement, or refinement are allowed, but the core creative image must be human-made.

Jurying is a blind process: the juror is not given any identifying information about the artists, and makes all decisions solely upon the merits of each work itself. All entries will be juried into the show from digital images in CaFE; all awards will be judged in person at the gallery from the original works of art.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** Regional
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, mixed media, mosaic, cut paper, collage, printmaking, scratchboard, book arts, fiber arts, quilting, weaving, dyeing, sculpture, wood carving, metal sculpture, assemblage, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalsmithing, basketry, digital art, photography
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** All artists must be Washington State or Oregon residents and 18 years of age or older as of August 18, 2026. Entries must be original and entirely the work of the entrant; copies of existing artworks, master copies, derivative works, or works solely based on copyrighted artworks are not eligible and will be withdrawn. Work created under the supervision of an instructor is NOT eligible and will be withdrawn — this includes art made in high school or college classes, professional development instruction, or any workshop.

Artists may not submit work that has been invited into any previous CVG Juried Show (work submitted previously but not invited is eligible to be submitted again). All work submitted must have been completed on or AFTER Jan 1, 2022. AI-generated artwork is not accepted. Work must not carry information identifying the artist — crop, cover or blur signatures.

### Additional Requirements

Apply online through CaFE only. Create a free CaFE account, populate your CaFE portfolio with images and information, and follow all instructions for each entry including answering all required survey questions for each piece. Artists MUST submit a minimum of TWO pieces for consideration; a maximum of FOUR entries per artist is permitted. Each entry is allowed only ONE image OR video file (3D artists may submit a short video showing all sides of the work); if more than one view is wanted, submit a composite image.

All entry images must be of the actual piece in its finished stage — no plans, sketches or unfinished work, and no pieces 'similar to' the one to be entered. Images must not carry information identifying the artist.

Entry fee $45 for two entries; a third and fourth entry may be submitted for an additional $10 each (2 entries $45, 3 entries $55, 4 entries $65). Entry fee is non-refundable.
