Water-based pigments on paper must constitute the major portion of the work. Entries composed of paper constructions, paper sculpture, paper collage, cut paper, mobiles, two- or three-dimensional wall pieces, and installations are eligible. Water-based inks, acrylics, watercolor, and other water-based media are eligible. Artists are urged to enter work, which is innovative in concept and approach, whether representational or abstract. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months. Work that has been previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. All work must be the original creation of the artist. ### General Information **ARTWORK:** Giclee reproductions are NOT permitted. Entry must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition on Sunday, March 30, 2027, including sold art. WE DO NOT ACCEPT AI GENERATED "ART". **JUROR: Sandy Newell** Sandy Newell was born in Chicago and currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. She works primarily in watercolor, using a pouring technique to create unexpected textures and reactions. Sandy received her BFA from the University of Illinois and her MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. She began her career as a graphic designer and successfully operated her own design studio for fifteen years. She also taught art at the local grade school for several years, learning as much from her students as they did from her. Sandy is currently represented by The Finer Arts Gallery in Cave Creek, AZ. She joined the Arizona Watercolor Association in 2019 and in 2021 received an award of distinction for her painting "Poseidon". In 2014, Sandy became a signature member of the Illinois Watercolor Society and won a best in show in 2018 for "OMG". Her painting "Medusa" received an honorable mention from the 2018 "Real People" exhibition. If framed, work must be suitably matted, (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed, and firmly wired. No sawtooth hangers. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry upon arrival that does not meet the above requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display. **JURY/FEES** Payments are made at the end of the CaFE™ entry process either via credit card online or a check mailed to the art center. Jurying will be done based on digital images in a jpg format only. Up to four works may be entered for consideration. $40 ($35 with TCA Member discount) $5 each additional entry image up to 4 entries.
