EMERGING ARTIST PROGRAM

- The Art in the Square Emerging Artist (EA) is an educational program designed for developing artists in the DFW Metroplex who have NOT exhibited in any juried art show. These artists gain experience in marketing and presenting their artwork, working under an artist mentor and interacting and receiving feedback from potential customers.
- EA area closes at 8:00 on Friday and Saturday as there is no electrical power in this area. This allows time for participants to observe and interact with other artists at the event. Battery lights are suggested.
- Four artwork images are required. Do NOT submit a booth shot. When submitting your 4th image, say yes when asked if it is your booth shot. EA is listed with other medium categories.
- Art in the Square will provide each EA with a 10x10 tent. EAs will be responsible for providing panels, tables and other display items.
- Emerging Artists are required to be on site throughout the entire event.
