# Gallery Without Walls 2027–2027

## About This Program

The Selection Committee will choose up to 15 pieces to be exhibited outdoors for two years in Lake Oswego's Gallery Without Walls rotating collection.

This nationally recognized outdoor public art program strives to integrate art into the daily lives of residents and visitors. For more than 20 years, the program has made it possible to experience the power of art every day.

Artists can submit completed works and ideas for new work to be completed by August 2027 for installation. Accepted artwork will be displayed throughout the downtown business district for a two-year exhibition period from summer 2027 to summer 2029.

We seek works of various media, including sculpture/3D artworks, suitable for outdoor display in the Pacific Northwest climate and encourage innovative submissions. Submissions of artwork created within the last three years are preferred.

Selected artists receive an honorarium award of $1500, and works will be available for sale (with a 30% gallery fee to ACLO).

### We are looking for artists who:

- Work in sculpture/3D art or new media installations
- Have any level of experience with large-scale public art installations, including artists just starting their public art careers
- Represent a diverse range of lived experiences and backgrounds
- Are available to deliver any accepted artwork to Lake Oswego, OR (just south of Portland) in August 2027

$25 application fee can be paid through the donation page on ACLO's website. Select "one time" donation.

- **Disciplines:** sculpture, 3d art, new media installations
- **Note:** Artists must be available to deliver any accepted artwork to Lake Oswego, OR in August 2027. Open to artists at any level of experience with large-scale public art installations, including those just starting their public art careers. Artists worldwide are eligible to apply.
