# America in 250: The Future of Transportation

## About This Program

Imagine how goods will move in 2276?

Win $2,500.

In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, Gebrüder Weiss, the world's oldest transportation and logistics company, invites U.S. artists of all levels, designers, students, and creative thinkers across the United States to answer one question: What will the transportation of goods look like in the year 2276?

From autonomous vehicles and sustainable logistics to space travel and technologies yet to be imagined, create an original work showing how goods may move through the world 250 years from now.

Entries will be evaluated through blind judging based on creativity, originality, artistic quality, and interpretation of the theme.

Winners will be featured in the Gebrüder Weiss 2027 calendar and in an online gallery.

Twelve artists will win:

- First Place: $2,500, plus the calendar cover
- 11 additional winners: $250 each
- All 12 winning works will be featured in the 2027 Gebrüder Weiss Art Calendar and may also be showcased on the Gebrüder Weiss website, social media, and digital gallery.

### Artwork Requirements

Entries must be original visual works created by the entrant and interpret the theme: What will logistics, transportation and supply chains look like 250 years from now? Eligible formats include painting, drawing, illustration, graphic design, photography, collage, mixed media, 3D rendering and other original visual art.

### No Artificial Intelligence

Generative AI, AI image-generation tools, AI-assisted design tools and AI-generated source material may not be used to create or materially alter any portion of an entry.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, illustration, graphic design, photography, collage, mixed media, 3d rendering
- **Note:** Open to U.S. residents, including Gebrüder Weiss employees and their family members. Entrants under 18 require parent/legal guardian consent. One entry per person.

### Additional Requirements

- One original piece of artwork (one entry per artist)
- Maximum file size: 50MB per image
- Accepted file types: JPG, PDF, PNG
- No signature, watermark, or identifying information on the submitted image (blind judging)

## Compensation & Benefits

First place wins $2,500 plus the calendar cover; 11 additional winners each receive $250.
