## About This Program

> "Resilience, healing, community, and healthcare equity"

The Louisiana Percent for Art Program seeks qualifications from professional artists and artist teams residing in Louisiana for an exterior public art commission at the new School of Nursing & Allied Health Addition at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO). The selection committee seeks an exterior artwork that establishes a strong visual identity for the School of Nursing and reflects the values and mission of the program. The artwork should reflect themes of resilience, healing, community, and healthcare equity while serving as a welcoming feature for students, faculty, and visitors. Artwork may be sited in exterior areas surrounding the School of Nursing, including entry points, terraces, and adjacent landscape areas. These locations are provided as potential opportunities for consideration. Final artwork location will be determined in collaboration with the selection committee. This is a Request for Qualifications. Proposals are not required at this stage.
