## About This Program

> "Marine — sea, seashore, boats, activity on or near the water"

Multimedia juried exhibit with cash prizes on the theme of all things MARINE: the sea, the seashore, boats, activity on or near the water. Artists across disciplines and experience levels may submit up to 9 pieces. Named after Vivian and Stanley Reed, two founding members of SAA and avid sailors. Up to $400 in awards given for excellence and conformity to the theme. Gallery takes 30% commission on sold work. All artwork must be hand-delivered to the gallery; no substitutions permitted.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media
- **Note:** Original work only; not previously shown at SAA gallery or SAA-sponsored exhibitions (except Faber Birren show). No giclees. Prints (lithographs, etchings, computer-generated art) must be signed and numbered as limited editions. Work must conform to the marine theme. Content offensive to gender, race, or religion will not be accepted. Artists must self-insure their work.

### Additional Requirements

Up to 9 original works on the marine theme. JPEG format only; minimum 1920px on longest side; 72 ppi/dpi; 5MB maximum file size. File naming required: LastName_Title_Media_Price_Dimensions.jpg (height before width, framed dimensions). No giclees; no substitutions. Maximum framed size 48x60 inches. Artwork must be wired for hanging and hand-delivered. Entry fee: $35 first piece (non-members), $30 first piece (SAA members); $15 each additional entry (non-members), $10 each additional entry (SAA members) — up to 5 entries total. Multiple entries must be submitted simultaneously. Fee paid via PayPal to SAA.
