## About This Program

> "Joy"

East Quay will be hosting its second Open Exhibition in Watchet, in Autumn 2026. Artists from Somerset and further afield are invited to submit works which explore and reflect on the theme of 'Joy'. We welcome applications from visual artists of any age, nationality or level of expertise. We are looking for two dimensional works and also have a limited number of spaces for three-dimensional works. Selected artists will be part of a large group show in the gallery for the duration of 4 months. They will receive marketing and networking opportunities and have the opportunity to sell their works if they choose to, with the potential to win one of three prizes, worth £1,000 each.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media
- **Note:** Open to visual artists of any age, nationality, or level of expertise. Reduced entry fee of £7.50 for students and applicants under 25. Primarily seeking 2D works; limited spaces available for 3D works.
