## About This Program

> "Small-scale work: intimacy, precision, invention, and bold expression"

Ripple Artspace invites artists from across the United States to submit work for Teeny Tiny BOLD, our annual national juried exhibition celebrating the impact of small-scale art. Working within a limited scale invites artists to distill ideas, refine craftsmanship, and create work with lasting presence. We invite submissions in all media that explore the possibilities of intimacy, precision, invention, and bold expression.

What can happen when less becomes more? Open to all subjects and themes. All two- and three-dimensional media are welcome, provided the finished work measures no more than 12 inches in any direction, including frame, base, or any mounting hardware. Juried by John T. Upchurch, a Chicago-based sculptor whose work explores the intersection of artifact, invention, and memory.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, collage, photography, fiber, metal, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, digital art
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Submission Limit: 1

Application Requirements

**AI-generated artwork is not eligible.** Entries must represent the original creative work of the submitting artist and may not include imagery or compositions generated by artificial intelligence. Submission of AI-generated artwork may result in disqualification from the exhibition.

Eligibility Criteria

Open to artists age 18 or older who reside in the United States or U.S. territories.

### Additional Requirements

3-6 total media submissions: 3-6 images, up to 4 videos. Artists may submit original work in any medium (painting, drawing, collage, photography, fiber, metal, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, digital media). Finished work must not exceed 12 inches in any direction, including frame, base, or mounting. Entry fee $30 plus $5 media fee.
