# Art Takeover Project 2026

## About This Program

This walkable, month-long art exhibition spans across 6 blocks of Downtown Grosse Pointe. Art Takeover Project was created to connect community with local artists and businesses across the Village Business District through an interactive display of art. This annual event takes place throughout the month of September, where visitors can vote for their favorite art displays and participate in the ATP scavenger hunt for prizes. Last year's event hosted 84 local artists in 35 local businesses across the village. This is a juried, open theme, all-media call for art. Both 2D and 3D art pieces will be accepted. Art displays may be an individual piece/installation or a themed "Collection" (in agreement with the business). Pieces may be for sale or NFS. Artists retain 100% of art sales, unless otherwise negotiated with their hosting business. Number of artists per business will be determined based on square footage and available space.

### Additional Requirements

1–3 art pieces per artist (maximum 3 entries). Both 2D and 3D work accepted. Image files must be GIF, JPG, PDF, or PNG format. Maximum file size: 500MB per image.
