# SET Film Festival 2026 - Open Call

## About This Program

Submissions are open for the 2026 edition of SET Film Festival, an independent platform for contemporary, artist and archival film run by SET, a London-based contemporary arts organisation and registered charity. Founded in 2023 and curated by Amina Ali, Ellie Dobbs and Verity Monroe, the festival presents experimental practices and emerging voices outside conventional exhibition and distribution contexts. Held each November at SET Social in Peckham, the festival unfolds across a month of weekly film nights. The 2026 edition runs from 5 November to 3 December. Filmmakers and artists from around the world are invited to submit short films of all genres including animation, documentary, drama, experimental cinema, essay film and artists' moving image. Films must be no longer than 30 minutes and completed after 1 January 2023. Submissions are free and open internationally. One submission per artist.

### Additional Requirements

Film title, director name, contact email, country of production, runtime, year completed, genre selection, synopsis (150-300 words), secure online viewing link, password if applicable, 4 still images for promotional use (max 50MB each), 1-2 promotional clips, accessibility and screening information (primary spoken language, English subtitle confirmation, caption file if available, sensory considerations, audio description availability). English subtitles required for non-English films.
