## About This Program

The City of Brampton is seeking professional artists, arts educators, and program leaders based in Brampton to deliver free, interactive, and participatory community arts programming during Culture Days (September 18 – October 4, 2026). All art forms are welcome. Up to three proposals will be supported, each with a budget of up to $4,000 CAD (including HST). The budget must cover all costs directly associated with the activity, including artist fees, planning, materials, insurance, travel, installation (if required), and other incidental and production expenses. Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture; in 2025 Brampton ranked #1 in Urban Centres and #2 overall in Canada for participation.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** Local
- **Disciplines:** painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, mixed media, digital art, textile, printmaking, performance, music, dance, theatre, installation
- **Note:** Professional artists, arts educators, and program leaders based in Brampton.

## Compensation & Benefits

$4,000 CAD per selected proposal (up to 3 proposals; total pool $12,000 CAD including HST). Budget must cover all project costs including artist fees, materials, insurance, and travel.

**Includes:** Commission fee

Budget of $4,000 CAD per artist/proposal (including HST) must cover all directly associated costs: artist fees, planning, materials, insurance, travel, installation (if required), and other incidental and production expenses. Total project budget is $12,000 CAD across three selected proposals.
