# Community Garden Club of Duxbury Centennial Gift

## About This Program

The Community Garden Club of Duxbury (CGCD) is seeking a piece of weather enduring art to be installed on the grounds of the Duxbury Free Library's Reading Garden. As the club turns 100 in 2027 we would like to highlight our one hundred years of service and our ongoing mission: to elevate the unique seaside beauty of Duxbury by fostering friendship, education, community, and cultural engagement via our shared passion for gardening, flowers, sustainability and community.

Allotted Budget: Up to $6000.00

### Submission Guidelines

- Number of pieces: 1 - 2
- Only one entry per artist
- Maximum file size: 50MB per image
- Accepted file types: JPG

Outdoor sculpture in an existing New England public garden, 365 days a year reflecting the mission of the Community Garden Club of Duxbury.

The CGCD will choose the exact location of the piece within the garden as well as provide the appropriate base. Base (Concrete pad) not to exceed 36” by 36”. Artist is responsible for delivery of piece to site.

Artist will supply a detailed sketch of the proposed piece, a statement about the piece, 3 images of past work and a brief bio and resume.

The Duxbury Free Library is located at 77 Alden Street, Duxbury, Massachusetts 02332. Artists are encouraged to visit the Reading Garden Entrance there.
