## About This Program

### About Eutopia

"For artists, writers, and creative minds seeking reconnection, clarity, and meaningful creative time — Eutopia makes hospitality, place, and community part of the creative process itself."

Eutopia Art Residency is a non-profit organisation (AMKE) founded in 2007 in Xanthi, Greece. In 2027 it runs artist residencies in Kavala by the sea (3 weeks, from €2,280), in the 16th-century Poretsou Monastery in the Peloponnese (12 days, €1,780, all meals included) and in Meteora (a 12-day international ceramics symposium). Groups are small, more than 293 artists from 40+ countries have taken part, and applying is free.

### What Is Eutopia

CREATE
Dedicated time and space for your artistic practice.

CONNECT
Meet artists and creative people from around the world.

EXPERIENCE
Discover Greece through culture, nature, food and everyday life.

SHARE
Open your practice to new perspectives, conversations and audiences.

### Who is Eutopia for?

Artists, writers, photographers, architects, ceramicists, curators, and filmmakers — typically 35 to 65 — who are seeking reconnection, clarity, and meaningful creative time. People who value meaning over status, atmosphere over luxury, and depth over productivity.

### Is this a traditional artist residency?

No. Traditional residencies focus on output — production, prestige, exhibitions. Eutopia focuses on the conditions that allow creation: process, rhythm, atmosphere, and human connection. There is no pressure to produce. There is time, place, and community.
