## About This Program

Art Westport is Kansas City's only outdoor art show and festival exclusively for local artists. Produced by the Westport Regional Business League, the event takes place September 11-13, 2026, in the historic Westport District. The show features painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, pottery, and more. A maximum of 150 visual artists will participate, selected by jury. Artists must reside within an 80-mile radius of the downtown Kansas City, MO post office. Booth spaces are 10'x10' at $480 (full booth) or $700 (corner booth at Westport Road and Pennsylvania Avenue). Artists must be present for the entire event and personally staff their booth. Original art must occupy more than 50% of booth space. All hanging work must be suitably framed. An Emerging Artist Program is available for artists with no past exhibiting/selling experience; accepted emerging artists receive mentoring and a tent.

- **Note:** Artists must reside within an 80-mile radius of the downtown Kansas City, MO post office. Artists may apply in no more than two categories, with a separate application and fee required for each; if both are accepted, two booth spaces must be purchased and work shown in separate booths with substantially different work in each. An Emerging Artist Program is available for artists with no past experience exhibiting and selling artwork in commercial or community art shows.

### Additional Requirements

Five images of artwork (one image per slide) and one image of proposed or past booth. Images must be current (no older than three years), high-resolution, and clearly represent the type and quality of work intended for display. Artists may apply in no more than two categories with a separate application and $35 fee for each.
