## About This Program

Artists may submit up to three ORIGINAL works to the Norris gallery's annual watercolor show. No giclee, reproductions, mixed media or acrylic work will be accepted. The $35.00 entry fee is non-refundable. Entries must satisfy the 'Watercolor 2027' exhibit requirements posted on the Norris website.

### Submission Details

- Number of pieces: 1 - 3
- Only one entry per artist
- Maximum file size: 50MB per image
- Accepted file types: JPG

### Terms

- All work must be FOR SALE. Artist will receive 70% of the sale price of their purchased work
- Entry deadline: Monday, January 18
- A non-refundable entry fee of $35.00 is charged to each artist
- An artist may enter up to 3 pieces for one fee
- ORIGINAL WORK ONLY - no reproductions or giclees - WATERCOLOR media only
- Artists will be notified of the status of their entries by the end of January
- Drop off date for accepted work: Monday, February 15 (1-3 pm) NO SHIPPED WORK
- Show dates: Saturday, February 20 - Sunday, April 11
- Reception for artists: Sunday, March 8 (2-4 pm)
- Pick up day for show work: Monday, April 13 (noon-4 pm)

### Medium

Original watercolor works. (No giclee reproductions or mixed media.)

### Additional Guidelines

- All work submitted for consideration must be ORIGINAL in execution and content. No reproductions or giclee are allowed.
- All work must be new to the Norris (never exhibited in the gallery).
- All work MUST be for sale. Norris Galleries will collect 30% commission on sold work.
- Work may be posted on the Norris Galleries website, as well as in the gallery.
- Accepted work must be prepared in accordance with gallery guidelines.
- Directions will be sent to accepted artists concerning preparation of accepted work. Work must accommodate the Walker hanging system used in the gallery.
- Content - Work must be suitable for viewing by all audiences
- All work must have an artist identification label attached to the work.
- The Norris reserves the right to refuse to exhibit any work that does not follow gallery requirements. NCAC reserves the sole right to make final show decisions.
- Artists are responsible for providing insurance for their work.
- Monetary and honorable mention awards will be presented during the artists' reception.
- All exhibited work must remain on display for the duration of the show and cannot be picked up prior to the scheduled pick-up date. Artwork substitutions are not allowed for the show.
- Work not picked up after seven days of the closing of the show will become property of the Norris Cultural Arts Center.
- Artists are encouraged to submit a resume or biography
- NCAC reserves the right to photograph all exhibited work for use in catalogues, NCAC website, and for educational, publicity and promotional purposes.
