## About This Program

Northern California Arts, Inc. Presents the 71st Open International Juried Art Exhibit, open to fine artists everywhere. Northern California Arts, Inc. located in the Sacramento Valley sponsors the show every year at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center. The quality and the variety of works entered have been phenomenal in the past years exhibiting the show.

Exhibition Dates: October 6-31, 2026. Second Saturday Reception and Awards Presentation: October 10, 5:30 to 8:00PM.

NOT ACCEPTED: Photography, copies of published artwork, gicleés, videos, film, crafts, class/workshop art, or work reproduced by any commercial process.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, watercolor, ceramics, pastel
- **Note:** Open to fine artists everywhere. Only original artworks created within the last 3 years and not previously shown at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center. NOT ACCEPTED: Photography, copies of published artwork, gicleés, videos, film, crafts, class/workshop art, or work reproduced by any commercial process. Mixed media that is extensively photography or commercial printing may be disqualified at the discretion of the co-chairs or judge. A maximum of 3 artworks may be entered; only 2 per artist may be exhibited.

### Additional Requirements

Online entry only via norcalartsinc.org or EntryThingy. 1–3 entries per artist (max 2 artworks exhibited). JPG files only; max 5MB, min 500kb, min 500px width (1920x1920 recommended). Entry fee: $50 for 1, 2, or 3 entries (non-refundable), paid via PayPal. Only original works created within last 3 years, not previously shown at Sac Arts. Hanging artwork max 4ft x 8ft, max 40 lbs. Works over 28x36 in or 1015 sq in require Plexiglas instead of glass. No protruding nails, staples, or saw-tooth hangers — braided wire or strong plastic line required; wire ends must be taped. Names and phone numbers must be attached to the work.
