# Casasanvito - Call Artist Residency in Marche, Italy - Last Call for 2026

**Hosted by:** Casasanvito

**Type:** Residency | **Location:** Casasanvito, Monte San Vito, Ancona, Italy | **Deadline:** October 1, 2026 | **Entry fee:** €25

## About This Program

Casasanvito promotes 6 months of artist residencies each year (Spring and Autumn), with the goal of hosting 2 artists per time. The Spring residency will last from April 3rd until April 24th. The residency is open to all forms of art and aims to establish a cultural and artistic hub in the Marche region. Each artist is expected to donate one work to the association. Once a year, exhibitions will be organized by our curator to showcase selected works. Throughout the year, the association also organizes additional activities, including: networking and fundraising events, open studios to connect artists with the local community, and workshops. We are open to all kinds of Art (visual art, performance art, writing, ballet etc..). Artists will stay on the main floor of an 18th-century frescoed palazzo, with access to a private bedroom and bathroom, a shared space with a library, kitchen, and relaxation area, and a 40-square-meter studio to be shared with another artist. We don't commission work on specific themes, but we encourage you to come to the residency with an idea of the project you'd like to pursue.

## What's Provided

- **Housing:** Provided - Artists will stay on the main floor of an 18th-century frescoed palazzo, with access to a private bedroom and bathroom, and a shared space with a library, kitchen, and relaxation area. The apartment will be professionally cleaned before arrival and once again halfway through the stay; bed linen and towels are changed during the mid-stay cleaning. Quiet hours after 10 PM. No smoking in the apartment (a small balcony in the studio is available). Casasanvito is an old, recently renovated building — rustic and charming but complex to heat, especially November to March, and can be warm in summer; temperature varies from 10 to 30 degrees based on the period.

Special materials should be brought by the artist; a local Art Shop in Jesi (20 mins) offers art supplies at a discounted rate. Additional production supplies are not covered.
