## About This Program

### About the Exhibition

A juried exhibit dedicated to the presentation of functional ceramics, focusing on the fine art of dining, to include serving vessels, place settings, platters and dinner table décor. Proceeds from the sale of work, and associated events that will showcase the work, will benefit the Art Students League of Denver and its ceramics program.

**Art Students League of Denver (ASLD)** is a nonprofit arts organization that empowers people to experience the joy of art in their own way. Modeled on the famous Art Students League of New York, ASLD first opened its doors in 1987 with a handful of recognized artists teaching over one hundred students in a two-studio space in Denver's LoDo neighborhood. Today, ASLD is located in the historic Sherman School at 200 Grant Street in the Speer neighborhood. ASLD engages over 2,500 students a month with more than 140 local artists who teach diverse visual art classes throughout the year, including a ceramics program now in its 25th year. A membership-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, ASLD is supported by private donations, class tuition, foundation grants, and the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
