## About This Program

Send us your book covers, movie posters, magazine spreads, comic pages, illustrated passages, political cartoons, articles, or poems. Incorporate type or send it separately. Pieces will be judged not only on artistic merit but also on how well it tells and sells the story! Acceptable Media: All original visual media is acceptable, such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry and digital media.

Exhibition entries must be original artwork. Entries must be original, human-created artworks. While digital artwork is eligible, AI-generated art is not, nor are works created in a workshop or class, or otherwise under the close instruction of a teacher. No reproductions will be accepted, with the exception of photography and digital art. Maximum frame size is 36" on the longest side.

Sculpture must be no larger than 12" in any direction. Each artist may submit one entry for consideration for $35 and up to three more submissions for $5 each. All work submitted must be for sale. The gallery will take a 35% commission on works sold. The exhibition will hang in the center special exhibition space (the "Darcy Arts Center") of The Firefly's Main Street, Northport Gallery.

Accepted work must be framed, wired and ready to hang or display. Framed pieces 16" x 20" and larger must have plexiglass instead of glass. Pastels that are not behind glass or plexi must have fixative applied. Accepted Jewelry pieces must be framed.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry, digital art, illustration
- **Note:** Artists nationwide are invited to apply. All original media is acceptable, such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry and digital media. Maximum size is 36" x 36". All works must be for sale. The gallery takes a 35% commission on works sold.

Entries must be original, human-created artworks. No reproductions will be accepted, with the exception of photography and digital art. Submission limit: 1 entry (up to 4 images total).

### Additional Requirements

1 to 4 images of original artwork (one entry for $35, up to three more submissions at $5 each). Each submitted piece of work shall include

3. medium/full description of the materials used. Payment must be received by the entry deadline. Accepted work must be framed, wired and ready to hang or display; framed pieces 16" x 20" and larger must have plexiglass instead of glass; pastels not behind glass or plexi must have fixative applied; accepted jewelry pieces must be framed. Artists provide their own insurance coverage for works while on view.
