### About This Call

The Artist Membership Review Committee will conduct the annual review of applications for Artist and Out-of-State Artist membership in the California Art Club. The process is highly competitive and acceptance is limited.

Dear Associate Artist,

We are pleased to announce that the Artist Membership Review Committee will conduct the annual review of applications for Artist and Out-of-State Artist membership in the California Art Club. All current and active Associate Artist members of the Club are eligible to apply at this time. The process is highly competitive and acceptance as an Artist, or Out-of-State Artist member, is very limited. Acceptance is a great honor that qualifies you to submit your artwork for significant exhibitions including the Annual Gold Medal Exhibition, CAC-sponsored museum exhibitions, and the California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill.

The jury is looking for traditional fine artists who produce work of the highest standard. Applicants are considered an asset to the Club, and should demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and a unique style. During the process, the jury considers the artwork quality and consistency, as well as the artists' exhibition history and website portfolio.

### Prospectus

Current, active Associate Artist and Mentorship Program members of the California Art Club are eligible to apply for Artist and Out-of-State Artist membership at this time.

### Submission

Please submit three high quality images (.jpg only) of recent works of art. Sculptors are encouraged to submit multiple views of each work. Images must be under 4 mb and in sRGB colorspace. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi.

### Deadline

Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PST

### Application Fee

There is an entry fee of $50, which covers all three works, payable through OnlineJuriedShows. Entry fees are non-refundable.

### Notes

- We strongly recommend that you have your artwork professionally photographed.
- Notification will be sent by mail beginning in early January 2027. Please do not call the CAC to ask about application status.
- When submitting your application, please make sure your Profile on OnlineJuriedShows is up to date, including the Bio/Resume/CV and Artist Statement sections. Your bio file must be named your first and last name.
- Please be aware that your website may be reviewed by the jury.
- If you are not current on CAC membership dues, your application will not be considered.
- If you are not a member of the California Art Club and would like to apply for Artist membership, please join first as an Associate Artist member.
- Annual dues for Artist members and Out-of-State Artist members are higher than Associate Artist Dues. Change in membership level dues will be effective upon membership renewal in the year following jury acceptance.

- **Note:** Current, active Associate Artist and Mentorship Program members of the California Art Club are eligible to apply for Artist and Out-of-State Artist membership at this time. Applicants must be current on CAC membership dues or the application will not be considered. Those who are not yet CAC members must first join as an Associate Artist member.

### Additional Requirements
