## About This Program

### About This Call

The Art Hunger Gallery invites artists to submit works that explore the depth of human expression, identity, and the quiet stories told through a subject's gaze. This exhibition seeks to challenge traditional boundaries of representation, looking for "portraits" that may not feature a face—works that use objects, abstract forms, or environmental cues to convey the spirit of a person. Artists are encouraged to interpret identity, power, and memory through contemporary techniques and unexpected perspectives.

Artists may submit up to five (5) works for consideration. All mediums and styles are welcome, including three-dimensional work. Submissions must be sent via email and should include high-quality images of the work, title, dimensions, medium, price, and a brief artist bio. All submitted works must be exhibition-ready and properly framed or wired; unframed works on paper or panel will not be accepted. Sculptural and 3D works must be structurally sound and suitable for public display. All exhibited works must be available for sale, and artists must provide a direct payment method (Venmo, Cash App, etc.). Content must remain PG-13, as the gallery is open to all ages. Pieces previously showcased at The Art Hunger Gallery in the past 12 months will not be eligible.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, October 31, 2026. Artist Notification: Sunday, November 1, 2026 (via email). Artwork Drop-Off: Tuesday, November 3, 2026. If selected, a hanging fee of $10 per piece applies. No commission will be taken on sales.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Note:** Pieces previously showcased at The Art Hunger Gallery in the past 12 months will not be eligible. All submitted works must be exhibition-ready and properly framed or wired; unframed works on paper or panel will not be accepted. Sculptural and 3D works must be structurally sound and suitable for public display. Content must remain PG-13, as the gallery is open to all ages.

- A direct payment method for sales (Venmo, Cash App, etc.)

## Compensation & Benefits

No stipend; artists receive full sale proceeds directly with no gallery commission

If selected, a hanging fee of $10 per piece applies for exhibition. No commission is taken on sales; buyers pay the artist directly via a payment method the artist provides (Venmo, Cash App, etc.).
