**Hosted by:** Chorus America

**Type:** Grant | **Location:** Washington, DC, United States | **Deadline:** November 20, 2026

## About This Program

> "Choral music education, cross-cultural learning, and access/diversity/equity/inclusion"

### About This Call

Chorus America invites nonprofit organizations and fiscally sponsored projects to apply to the Music Education Partnership Grants which, through a funding partnership, will support collaborations between choral music organizations and community partners during the 2027-28 and 2028-29 school years.

In this grant cycle, Chorus America will provide 2-year grants to partners across four geographic regions that are priorities of this funding partner. In addition to funding, all projects selected will participate in an online peer learning cohort.

Grants will fund programs and projects that:

- Increase access to choral music education for students from historically marginalized communities,
- Support cross-cultural learning, and
- Uphold the principles of access, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We encourage applicants to review the grant's core values and guiding definitions to better understand the objectives of this opportunity.

### Eligibility

This grant opportunity is made possible by a funding partner for this program who has made a commitment to serving specific US & Canadian regions where music engagement opportunities for students may be limited by socioeconomics, geography, or related factors. During the upcoming grant cycle, only organizations serving these regions will be eligible to apply.

- British Columbia & Northwest US
- Central Appalachia
- Southwest US
- Upper Midwest US

Projects led by and serving historically marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

### Funding Categories

Grants of up to $50,000 USD over 2 years will be awarded to applicants in each region. Within each region, applications will be considered in 2 categories:

- Organizations with budgets less than $150,000 USD or volunteer-run
- Organizations with budgets of $150,000 USD or greater and at least 1 regular or part-time employee.
