## About This Program

> "Agriculture, rural life, and the land"

### General Information

The 39th Annual Culture & Agriculture Exhibition is a national juried exhibition presented by Gallery Q in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, March 3–April 29, 2027.

Gallery Q is honored to continue this nearly four-decade tradition celebrating agriculture, rural life, and the land through the eyes of artists from across the country.

From the land and livestock to the laborers, tools, and traditions, the exhibition showcases the diverse ways artists interpret the world of agriculture. With styles ranging from representational to abstract, each work offers a personal lens, rich with memory, experience, and observation, that reimagines the familiar in fresh and thought-provoking ways.

Located in the heart of downtown Stevens Point, Gallery Q is an artist-owned gallery and a premier local art destination in Central Wisconsin.

**2027 JUROR: Roberta Condon**

Roberta Condon is an award-winning Wisconsin artist whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. A Master Circle pastelist with the International Association of Pastel Societies and a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, Condon is known for her soft pastel paintings as well as her work in fiber and basketry. Her work has appeared in museums, universities, galleries, and numerous national juried exhibitions.

Condon's connection to the themes of Culture & Agriculture is especially significant. Her American Pastoral series explores the changing Midwestern agricultural landscape and the loss of the family farm, reflecting her longstanding interest in Wisconsin's rural landscape and its agricultural history.

Condon received the Best of Show Award in the 2026 Culture & Agriculture Exhibition.

The juror will select artwork for the exhibition through an online jury process via CaFÉ. The online jury will take place February 2–5, 2027, with artist notifications sent February 7, 2027.

Final award selections will be made in person March 3–4, 2027, after the juror has viewed the installed exhibition at Gallery Q.

All exhibition and award decisions are made solely by the juror. Gallery Q members and the Culture & Agriculture Exhibition Committee do not participate in the juror's selections or award decisions.
