Join us Memorial Day Weekend in beautiful Smiley Park for the 15th Annual Redlands Festival of Arts, taking place Saturday, May 29, and Sunday, May 30, from 10 am to 5 pm each day.

### General information

The Redlands Festival of Arts is a juried art show featuring two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art. The event is sponsored by Redlands Arts Festival Association, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The organization also provides grants to community organizations who provide art experiences to the youth.

Mission Statement
The Redlands Festival of Arts, Inc has been created as a non-profit service organization whose mission is to provide access to a broad spectrum of arts experiences and to support arts education in the City of Redlands.

The centerpiece of the Redlands Festival of Arts is its juried outdoor art exhibition.

- All applying artists must register via Zapplication.org
- Zapp collects a $35 application fee per media category entered
- Artists working in more than one medium must submit a separate application for each medium
- Application deadline: February 2, 2027
- Applicants will be notified of acceptance by February 10, 2027
- Jury period is: February 3-9, 2027

### Medium Categories

All art must be original and made by the artist in attendance. Artwork generated in whole or in substantial part by Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not eligible for jury consideration and may not be displayed or sold at the Redlands Festival of Arts. Limited edition prints signed by the artist will be permitted. Giclees will be permitted if they are accurately identified as such and signed by the artist.

### Artist Amenities

- Complimentary continental breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday
- Complimentary artist dinner on Saturday evening
- Friday hospitality reception featuring appetizers from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Complimentary bottled water available throughout the festival weekend
- Dedicated volunteer assistance available Friday through Sunday
- Coordinated marketing with the RFA

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** digital art, graphics and printmaking, mixed media, painting, photography, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, sculpture, wood
- **Note:** The artist who created the work, submitted the application, and who was accepted by the Festival must be in attendance; identification is checked at registration. Only original work created and executed by the artist is permitted, and no more than 25% of exhibited work may be giclee. Artwork generated in whole or in substantial part by Artificial Intelligence is not eligible for jury consideration and may not be displayed or sold.

Out-of-state exhibitors need a temporary 30-day California State Board of Equalization permit, and all exhibitors must also purchase a Temporary Seller's Permit from the City of Redlands.

### Additional Requirements

- 5 images total: 4 images of current individual artworks, plus 1 required booth image showing display and body of work
- Non-refundable $35 jury/application fee per media category
- Up to 2 applications may be submitted
- Submitted images must not contain artist names, logos, signage, or identifiable photographs of the artist (blind jury)
