## About This Program

From ancient traditions to contemporary innovation, Rooted in Fiber celebrates the enduring beauty, versatility, and expressive power of fiber art. This exhibition showcases works created with textiles, yarn, felt, weaving, quilting, embroidery, basketry, paper, and mixed-media techniques, highlighting the remarkable ways artists transform fiber into works of art. Whether functional or purely artistic, these works invite viewers to explore the rich textures, intricate patterns, and meaningful connections that make fiber art an essential part of the visual arts. Join us as we celebrate the artists whose creativity is truly Rooted in Fiber. Juror: Eva Polizzi. Important Dates: Exhibit Dates: September 26 to October 31. Drop Off: September 18 & 19, 1-4 pm. Pick Up: October 31, 4-5 pm and November 2, 1-4 pm. Submission Deadline: September 4. Notification: September 10. Reception and Awards: September 26. This exhibit will be displayed in the Marmer Gallery. Gallery Hours: Thursday-Saturday, 1:00-5:00 pm.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Disciplines:** fiber art, textile, weaving, quilting, embroidery, basketry, felt, paper, mixed media
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Open to artists 18 years of age and older. Each artist may submit up to five pieces. All artwork must NOT have been included in previous ACE juried exhibits. All artwork must be original. No copies. No kits. No kits or AI generated art. Artwork cannot be from a class.

### Additional Requirements

Submit 1-5 pieces (maximum 5 entries per artist). Images: maximum file size 50MB per image; accepted file types JPG, PNG.
