# Translations: TIME, HISTORY, ETERNITY (free)

## About This Program

> "Time, History, Eternity"

**PLEASE NOTE** This category is **ONLY** for translation in which the original language author and translator are two different people. Original work that is not in translation will be declined unread. **Self translated work** should be submitted in its proper genre (self translated poetry should be submitted under poetry).

We are currently accepting submissions for our **TIME, HISTORY, ETERNITY** issue. We welcome **unpublished** translations into English from any language, provided the translator has obtained permission from the author (or vice versa, if the author is submitting). Please include a copy of the original work.

**Word limits:**

- **Poetry:** Submit **3-7 poems**, not to exceed 10 pages. Please submit all work + bio in a single Word file, with each poem beginning on a separate page.
- **Fiction:** One story of up to **3000** words, or up to **3 flash** pieces up to **500 words each.**
- **Creative Nonfiction:** One essay of up to **4000 words**, or up to **3 flash** pieces, no longer than **500 words each.**

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.

- **Note:** This category is for translations only; original work that is not in translation will be declined unread. Translations must be unpublished and rendered into English from any language, and the translator must have obtained permission from the author (or the author may submit the translation themselves).

### Additional Requirements

- A copy of the original work (untranslated)
- Translator's permission from the author (or author's permission if self-submitting)
- Poetry: 3-7 poems, not exceeding 10 pages, all work + bio in a single Word file, each poem on a separate page
- Fiction: one story up to 3000 words, or up to 3 flash pieces up to 500 words each
- Creative Nonfiction: one essay up to 4000 words, or up to 3 flash pieces up to 500 words each
