## About This Program

The 16th Annual Salon Art Prize consists of 11 monthly online competitions, and awards over $65,000 in cash prizes annually. Over $2,000 is awarded in each monthly competition, and the monthly winners go on to the Annual Competition where we award over $40,000, including two $15,000 Grand Prizes.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Open to residents of any state or country where acceptable by law. Must be at least 18 years of age. Employees or associates of Streamline Publishing, Inc., or their immediate families may not enter. Grand Prize can only be won once per artist.

### Additional Requirements

Original paintings and drawings only. JPEG format, at least 1920 pixels on the longest side, sRGB color space, max 30 MB file size. Maximum 25 entries per monthly competition. Work must be 100% original compositions based on the artist's own reference photos; copies of other artists' work are not eligible. Must be 100% painted by the entering artist (not from a group workshop). Photography, AI, digital art, or art printed/painted over photographs are prohibited. Plein air category entries must have been completed 100% outdoors.

## Compensation & Benefits

Over $2,000 in monthly cash prizes; annual competition awards over $40,000 including two $15,000 Grand Prizes and magazine cover features.

**Includes:** Prize

Monthly prizes: First Place $600, Second Place $400, Third Place $300, Category awards $50 each (19 total), plus Category Honorable Mentions. Annual competition: PleinAir Grand Prize $15,000 + magazine cover, Fine Art Connoisseur Grand Prize $15,000 + magazine cover, Second $3,000, Third $2,000, three Honorable Mentions $750 each, six Best Medium Awards $500 each.
