## About This Program

Key West's Jag Gallery announces a Call To Artists for its SMALL WORKS 2026 Juried Exhibit. Now in its 19th year, SMALL WORKS has become a significant, and popular holiday event showcasing work from an international field of artists. The simple requirements are that the artwork is current, original, and does not exceed 10 inches in any direction (including the frame, if applicable).

Accepted is 2D and 3D work; painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textile, (no jewelry or AI please). Artists may submit up to 6 pieces for this call. Each individual entry is $18. This year's show will be installed at our brick and mortar gallery at 1075 Duval Street, Duval Square in Key West, Florida with work additionally available for purchase through Jag's online gallery.

SMALL WORKS 2026 opens with a special Holiday gallery reception on Saturday, December 5th and continues through January 10, 2027. Trophies awarded for Juror's Choice, People's Choice and 4 Honorable Mentions. Awardees will be invited to participate in an AWARD WINNERS group exhibition at Jag Gallery during the 2027 calendar year. Accepted artwork must be for sale and Jag Gallery staff is available to assist in determining the selling price upon request.

Artists are responsible for shipping work to and, in the event that work is not purchased, from the gallery. Accepted artwork must arrive in excellent condition and installation ready. Imperfections will be reason for disqualification (scratches, cracks, nicks...etc). Commissions are based on a 50/50 Gallery split and will be distributed by December 31st, 2026. Artists need not be present at the opening reception to participate.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textile
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Artists must be 18 years of age or older to apply and artwork must be current, original and under 10 inches in any direction, including a frame (frames, where applicable are optional). No jewelry, wearable art or AI. Submission limit: 1 application, up to 6 pieces.

### Additional Requirements

When applying, please send a clear image of your work (1-6 images). This year we will include all SMALL WORKS accepted art in our online gallery increasing sales opportunity. White backgrounds are preferred, but not required. Images must be high quality and as clear a representation as possible; the gallery is unable to reshoot artwork for online and marketing purposes.

Trophies will be awarded for Juror's Choice, Honorable Mentions (4) and a People's Choice Award voted for by the public.  Awardees will be invited to participate in an *AWARD WINNERS* group exhibition at Jag Gallery during the 2027 calendar year.
