## About This Program

The Creative City Impact Awards recognize municipal culture teams and individuals advancing cultural practice in communities across Canada. Categories include Cultural Planning; Public Art (Process Award, Project Award, and new Enduring Impact Award); Festivals & Events (Festival & Events Award and new Process Award); IDEA – Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility; and Cultural Leadership. All awards are adjudicated by a volunteer peer jury. Nominated projects must fall within the eligibility period of May 2024 – May 2026. Award recipients are celebrated at the Creative City Summit in Calgary on October 6, 2026.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Note:** Class A members may nominate for all municipal award categories. All member classes may nominate for the Cultural Leadership Award (no self-nominations permitted). Municipalities may self-nominate where eligible. Nominated projects must fall within the eligibility period of May 2024 – May 2026.

Complete the online nomination form. Nominated projects or initiatives must fall within the eligibility period of May 2024 – May 2026. Nominator must be a member of the Creative City Network of Canada; eligible member class varies by award category.
