### About This Call

We invite artists to submit miniature paintings showcasing the artistry and precision of small-scale works, utilizing paintings no larger than 108 square inches. This contemporary-traditional exhibition highlights the beauty of landscapes, seascapes, portraits and still lifes where intricate detail and careful composition transform modest canvases into magnificent scenes.

### Qualifications

Open to current and active CAC members in the following categories; Signature Artist Member, Artist Member, Out-of-State Artist, and Mentorship Program Member. Associate Artist and Student Artist Members are not eligible for consideration.

### Subject

Magnificent Miniatures. We invite artists to submit miniature paintings showcasing the artistry and precision of small-scale works, utilizing paintings no larger than 108 square inches. This contemporary-traditional exhibition highlights the beauty of landscapes, seascapes, portraits and still lifes where intricate detail and careful composition transform modest canvases into magnificent scenes.

### Medium and Dimensions

Unframed dimensions cannot exceed 9” x 12”, or 108 squared inches.

Only 35 works max will be accepted.

Paintings should be in traditional materials like oil, watercolor, pastel, gouache, acrylic, graphite or charcoal.

Due to the sizing limitations of the gallery, sculptures cannot be considered for this venue.

All artworks must be original. No AI, or AI reference materials, giclées or digitally enhanced images will be accepted. If it is found that a work does not meet these requirements, the artwork will be disqualified from this display.

### Commission

60% Artist; 20% CAC; 20% Old Mill. All artwork must be available for sale.

### Notifications

The Submission Deadline is Wednesday, July 14, 2027 @ 11:59 pm PST. Artists will be notified through their OnlineJuriedShows artist profile on or around Monday, July 26.

### Submission Information

Upload all artwork through OnlineJuriedShows.com for consideration to exhibit in Monumental Miniatures.

The entry fee is $35 for the first image, and $10 per additional entry. There is no entry limit to this submission.

Images must be jpg, under 4MB and in sRGB colorspace. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels @ 72 dpi.

### Artwork Drop-off

(Tentatively) Monday, September 13; 10:00 am-12:00 noon. If artists cannot drop-off accepted artwork in person during the designated delivery time, artwork must be shipped. Artwork that does not arrive on day of drop-off will forfeit its acceptance and in-person display. Accommodations can be made for early drop-off, or a proxy can hand deliver the artwork to the gallery on the artist's behalf.

### Out-of-Town Shipping

All out-of-town shipments can be sent directly to the Old Mill. Shipments must arrive between July 30 - September 10, 2027. Late shipments will be returned to the artist, at their expense. Shipments cannot require a signature delivery, as Old Mill has limited hours, and a signature can risk non-delivery.

### Artists' Reception

Thursday, September 16, 2027; 5:30-7:30 pm at CAC Gallery at the Old Mill.

### Artwork Pick-up

(Tentatively) September 18, 2027; 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
