## About This Program

> "Landscape as personal sanctuary and escapism"

Exhibition expanding or reimagining the traditional landscape as personal sanctuary. Artists are invited to illustrate environments offering psychological relief from modern pressures — from intimate, secluded havens to the overwhelming vastness of the open horizon — exploring the spectrum of tranquility and the diverse spatial forms of escapism. Open to most mediums (abstract, realism, impressionism, conceptual, etc.); electronic media and AI-generated work not accepted. Juried by Shona Macdonald. WorkShop13 receives a 30% commission on work sold.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** Regional
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, mixed media, ceramics, watercolor
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Applicants must reside in the Northeast US and be 18 years of age or older. Ineligible work: AI-generated art, work previously juried into an ArtWorks Gallery show, and work created under instruction.

### Additional Requirements

1–3 original pieces per entry (only one entry per artist). Must reside in Northeast US and be 18+. No AI-generated art, no work previously juried into ArtWorks Gallery, no work created under instruction. Entry fee: $25 for one piece, $35 for up to three pieces. Image files: JPG, PNG, or GIF format; min 2MB, max 6MB per image; min 1000px on shortest side; name files as FirstName_LastName_Title. 2-D work must be framed and securely wired for hanging. Work must be hand-delivered to ArtWorks Gallery on specified dates, or mailed with a prepaid UPS return label (must be received by end of day the Monday prior to opening).

## Compensation & Benefits

Entry fee is $25 for one piece, $35 for up to three pieces (one-time, non-refundable). Gallery takes 30% commission on all work sold; art need not be for sale but is encouraged.
