# Call for Rental Applications: 2026 Solo Exhibitions at Melt Studio + Gallery

**Hosted by:** Melt Studio + Gallery

**Type:** Exhibition | **Location:** Melt Studio + Gallery, Picton, ON, Canada

## About This Program

> "FOCUS gallery: artists working in any medium. FORMAT gallery: artworks that explore the boundaries of art installation, audio/visual arts and art beyond the 2D realm, including sculpture installation, video art/documentation and mural installations, site-specific and ephemeral work."

Melt Studio + Gallery currently has two gallery spaces available for artists seeking solo exhibitions. These project rooms are offered for a flat rental fee and are designed to cultivate a supportive, professional, and affordable environment where artists can showcase their work while connecting with a diverse and engaged audience. The FOCUS gallery is for rent for artists working in any medium, while the FORMAT gallery primarily showcases work outside the 2D realm, in sculpture, video, or installation.

However, both galleries are open to applications from artists working in any medium. FORMAT's mandate is primarily to showcase and highlight artworks that explore the boundaries of art installation, audio/visuals arts and art beyond the 2D realms. Such works could include sculpture installation, video art/documentation, and mural installations. Located within the vibrant cultural hub of Base31 in Prince Edward County, Melt Studio + Gallery benefits from being part of one of the region's most exciting arts, culture, and entertainment destinations.

Duo exhibitions will be considered and are subject to an additional surcharge on the rental fee. There are still opportunities for Summer, Fall and Winter 2026.
