## About This Program

> "Pets and animal companions"

The Bedford's annual juried exhibition returns with, Pet Project, a whimsical spin through the joy of the animal companions who captivate us with their larger-than-life personalities and unique quirks. With artworks spanning an array of media, Pet Project invites visitors into a playful menagerie where these grounding forces become muses and mischief-makers, reminding us how blissfully they slither, flutter, scamper, and pounce their way into our lives. Artists may submit up to three artworks for consideration.

Works must meet the theme of the exhibition and only artwork about pets will be juried. Open to all media. There will be $2,000 in cash prizes for juror awards.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Open to US-based artists, 18 years of age or older. Submission limit: 1 application. Location Eligibility Type: National. Eligible Applicant Types: Artist.

### Additional Requirements

Submit up to three artworks online via CaFÉ (1-3 media items total: images, audio and/or video, max 3 each). Include overall dimensions for each entry (H x W x D inches). Artist biography (no longer than two paragraphs), artist statement about each submitted artwork (no longer than one paragraph each), and social media handle(s) with platform. For installation concepts: include images, description, concept design or similar installations, and installation info.

Allowable formats: JPEG or TIF (up to 5MB each), video (up to 100MB each), audio (up to 10MB each), PDFs (up to 2MB each), external media from YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud.
