# 16th Annual National Juried Exhibition

## About This Program

Marshall University's School of Art & Design is pleased to invite artists to submit entries for the 16th Annual National Juried Exhibition. Accepted works will be exhibited at the Charles W. and Norma C. Carroll Gallery located in the Visual Arts Center in Huntington, West Virginia, from January 18 to February 25, 2027.

This year's juror is Rachel Rearick, Executive Director of Contemporary Craft and adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching courses in museum operations and public art. Rearick is an artist member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Print Group.

Submission period will begin August 3, 2026.

Deadline for entries October 23, 2026 @11:59pm

Entry fee: $30 for up to three entries. Current Marshall students with ID pay just $15 for up to three entries.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** All disciplines
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Artists must be 18 years of age or older and must maintain a permanent residence in the U.S. Exceptions are made for students and military personnel with U.S. resident status. Artwork previously displayed in Marshall University's art galleries will not be considered. Artists may submit up to three artworks in any medium.

### Additional Requirements

- Up to three entries
- Title, medium, and dimensions in inches (or minutes if time-based) for each entry
- Brief description for each entry
- Uploaded image(s) for each entry
- Video link, if submitting time-based work
