Description
Artistic and philosophical interpretations of the Joker, into his nature, suggest his persona is his true self and that he views his actions as a form of art. There are also reflections on the idea of internal "monsters". The Joker has a complex mix of symptoms suggesting neurological and psychiatric issues, including Pseudobulbar Affect (PBA) causing uncontrollable laughter due to childhood trauma, possibly alongside features of psychopathy, narcissistic personality disorder, depression, and even hints of Borderline Personality Disorder, stemming from severe abuse and neglect, though a single definitive diagnosis isn't given.
