Description
Mosaic Water articulates flow through discontinuity. The work presents water not as a continuous surface, but as a field of assembled fragments—units that imply movement while insisting on edges, joints, and intervals. In Mosaic Water, I treat water as something that can be reorganized: a body made of parts. The mosaic structure interrupts the expectation of seamless flow and turns perception toward what usually disappears—boundaries, fractures, and the logic of assembly. Instead of “repairing” fragmentation, the work inhabits it, suggesting that continuity can be constructed from breaks. Between flow and containment, the piece proposes a different kind of stability: not smooth or resolved, but held together by tension, rhythm, and the persistence of material.
