Description
A labour of love! Plastic shards collected from local Cape Town beaches. A challenging piece, as I embraced the delicate balance of standing each shard on its thin edge. Love in the Mist, completed over eight months, was born from quiet beach mornings spent collecting elusive white plastic shards. The ‘love’ represents my dedication, and the soft blue tones recall the ocean emerging as the mist lifts. The piece now lives in New York.
