Description
A shoal of beach found fishing lures, each one carrying its own story. Once tied to a line and treasured by a fisherman, perhaps even as their lucky lure. I called this piece 'Lucky Fish' as a nod to the fish that slipped free, leaving only the lure behind. Lost to the sea, washed onto the shore or trapped between the rocks, these forgotten objects have found a second life. Perhaps luck was never about the lure at all. Perhaps it belonged to the fish.
