On the Dunes, 2025

Description

Shards of beach found plastic stuck upright to form beautiful shadows. This piece reflects the volatility of the littoral zone, where nature meets plastic—along the high tide lines where debris accumulates. I often find myself picking up a small yellow flower, mistaking it for plastic. The seepampoen is commonly found in the dunes along our shoreline.
