Between Borders

Between Borders is a portrait based on a photograph taken during my father's immigration to Canada, capturing the exhaustion and psychological weight carried in the pursuit of belonging elsewhere.

An introspective portrait captures a figure caught between thought and sensation, their hand resting in their hair. Warm, layered tones of ochre and red dissolve the boundary between body and environment.
