2026: This series originated as a commentary on shared values during uncertain times. While society’s focus shifted toward artificial intelligence, I chose to create these works entirely by hand. Raw canvases—material new to me—were stretched manually, and I experimented with fresh materials and techniques directly onto the unprimed surfaces. My aim was to convey physical gestures through vibrant colors and an earnest, childlike attention. Each piece emerged quickly, guided by intuition and natural flow. The salvaged vintage wood trays were incorporated as a nod to historic communication devices, while origami paper alludes to the structured patterns of expression found in my cultural heritage. These works exhibit significant depth, prioritising emotional engagement and presenting a sophisticated aesthetic.
