Chahrouri’s work is deeply inspired by her Lebanese roots. She strives to represent and celebrate her heritage by incorporating culturally meaningful motifs—particularly food—as symbols of pride, tradition, and shared community. For her, these elements are not only visual references but also storytelling devices that connect memory, culture, and identity. Working across acrylic painting, photography, and graphic design, Chahrouri explores the relationship between texture, color, and composition. She thoughtfully applies color theory and layered surfaces to create pieces with a distinctive aesthetic that matches her message. Her process often blends traditional art practices with contemporary design approaches, allowing her to move fluidly between fine art and graphic communication. Through her work, Chahrouri invites viewers to reflect on cultural identity and the ways everyday objects and traditions can carry deep personal and collective meaning. Her practice ultimately seeks to celebrate heritage while fostering connection through visual storytelling.
