About Artsume
Your professional identity in the arts.
What is Artsume?
Artsume brings your work, CV and career history together in a free profile you control. Artists and arts professionals share their profiles after an introduction and use them in applications on Artsume. Organizations publish programs, review applications and keep artist relationships. Organizations can confirm individual career credits. Pro adds opportunity matches and view insights. Intelligence adds reviewer panels, applicant summaries and reports. You can browse open programs without an account, and open three programs a day for free. Join Artsume to keep reading, save a program and apply. How it works walks through the six steps in order.
Why we built it
Introducing your work often means sending a portfolio link, a CV and a statement. Artsume gives you a profile you can keep current and share. Organizations can confirm the exhibitions, residencies and awards they were part of.

What we stand for
- Simplicity: fewer steps between an artist and the program they want
- Fairness: organizations can run blind review, so the work is judged before the name is
- Efficiency: time not spent on paperwork is time spent making work
- Accessibility: the platform should work for everyone who needs it

Common questions
Who can join Artsume?
Artists, arts professionals and arts organizations. An artist account holds a portfolio, a CV and an artist statement. An arts professional account is for curators, advisors, gallerists and educators, who follow artists and can apply to calls that are open to their role. An organization account is for galleries, museums, residencies, foundations, festivals, arts councils and schools that publish programs and review applications.
Is Artsume free?
An artist account is free, with no time limit. Artsume Pro is optional and costs $12 a month, or $100 a year. Organizations start free on Artsume Network. Artsume Intelligence, the paid organization plan, costs $79 a month billed annually ($948 a year), or $129 a month billed monthly. Prices are shown before tax.
Does Artsume take a percentage of grants, prizes or sales?
No. Grants, prizes, awards, stipends and sales go entirely to the artist. Artsume charges a 10% platform fee only on application fees an organization chooses to collect, and that fee comes out of the organization's proceeds. An artist pays exactly the amount the organization set, and Artsume adds nothing at checkout. The 10% is all-in: Artsume covers the card processing, with no monthly minimum and no per-payout charge.
What does a verified credit mean?
An organization can confirm a CV entry that names it. A confirmed exhibition, residency or award then carries that organization's confirmation on the artist's profile, so the record is verified by the institution in the credit rather than self-reported. An artist keeps every other entry on their CV; confirmation is an extra signal, not a requirement.
Can anyone see my Artsume profile?
A published profile has a public web address, so anyone can open it without an account — that is what makes it usable as the link an artist sends. Applications are different: an application and its answers are visible only to the artist, the organization they applied to, that organization's assigned reviewers, and Artsume staff.
When was Artsume founded?
Artsume was founded in December 2025 by David Rozenfeld.
