Often working with themes of discovery, particularly through the lens of Chinese Canadian history, the experiences of mixed-race individuals, and the complex dynamics of diaspora and cultural disconnection. Working primarily with metal and fibres, using welding, casting, and felting techniques to create material tensions.

Sign upBelmore is currently based in Montréal. Graduating from Concordia University with a BFA in Sculpture in Spring 2026. Belmore transforms everyday objects into uncannily familiar forms, manipulating scale and material to disrupt recognition and invite closer investigations. In 2024 Belmore founded Mud collective, a feminist arts collective that functions to create opportunities for underrepresented groups.
