This work explores the recurring act of reinvention. Rather than a singular “first”, it reflects the repeated moments in life when stability dissolves and new structures must be formed. The horizontal bands suggest thresholds, spaces between certainty and uncertainty. The figures appear in transition, neither fully anchored nor fully released. They embody the tension between fear and intention, vulnerability and agency. A new beginning is not simply departure; it is the conscious shaping of a new internal architecture.
Layered figurative forms emerge within horizontal bands of color, suspended between dissolution and formation. Textured acrylic and mixed media create a sense of cyclical motion and structural rhythm.
