Birthplace, 2019
Acrylic & Mixed Media on Canvas
Description
A coastal landscape merges with subtle figurative traces, rendered in layered blues and earth tones. The textured surface suggests depth beneath the visible horizon “Birthplace” addresses origin as imprint rather than geography. The meeting of stone and sea reflects stability within movement, how early environments continue to shape perception long after physical departure. The dominant blue emerges as an internal reference point, a persistent visual memory embedded.
