Sign upRadiating warmth and light, my paintings explore atmosphere, memory, and the emotional experience of landscapes. Drawing inspiration from Canadian and imagined environments, I build luminous surfaces through thin layers of acrylic paint, creating dreamlike spaces where colour becomes a carrier of feeling and recollection. I am especially drawn to transitional moments in nature, including shifting light, distant horizons, and subtle tonal fields, where landscapes become less about place and more about perception. My use of pinks and atmospheric washes reflects this interest in memory as something fluid and emotionally constructed rather than fixed. Through my artwork, I explore how we experience identity, belonging and interconnectedness through nature, as well as how environments and community shape emotional and psychological states.
