About

Artist statement

Saha Nagiah is a multidisciplinary artist based out of San Jose, California. The arts have allowed her to communicate ideas that aren't easy to put it into words. Her work has allowed her to foster a sense of creativity, not just artistically, but as a new mode of thinking that allows her to connect far off ideas. Many of her works revolve around the natural world, but some also revolve around themes such as space exploration and technology. While some of her work happens spontaneously, a lot of her ideas are forged through careful and methodical brainstorming, ideation, and shortlisting. She works with a wide range of media and picks which one to use based on what suits her current subject/topic. Many of her works begin with her thoughts about the world, but they aren't meant to have a single interpretation. She invites viewers to form their own interpretations and connect to her artwork through their unique stories and experiences. Interested in an acrylic or metal print?
